Title: Serial #1.1 A Need for Revenge - Introduction/The Mind of Our Villain Hero
Series: Bleach
Rating: R
Warnings: het (Shunsui/Nanao), possessed vibrators, things man was not meant to know, Mayuri. Just... Mayuri.
Spoilers: Soul Society arc, the Dark Souls DS game (because people are playing it for the PLOT. Right)
Disclaimer: These characters belong to a lot of Japanese people, namely people like Tite Kubo and Shonen Jump. You'll notice how none of those are me. The LiveJournal format that you'll probably be reading this in (if you're one of my friends) is rough draft and is subject to revision. Consider this a 'sneak peek'. If something sits the wrong way with you, let me know. This will probably be updated daily in serial format. Not responsible for epileptic seizures or allergic reactions. May contain eye-and-brain-bleeding levels of radioactive CRACK and/or peanut products. Please sit a reasonable distance from your computer screen.
Feedback: I mean it. Possessed vibrators. ~ sailorN1@aol.com

Kurotsuchi Mayuri had a problem with women.
More accurately, Kurotsuchi Mayuri had several problems with women. They were noisy, nattering endlessly about trivial subjects, making it hard to concentrate on anything. They were messy, strewing their candy and make-up in the most inconvenient places or breaking things he'd later have to replace. They were bossy and violent, throwing tantrums if they didn't get their way, or worse, throwing objects at his head. They were inconsiderate, with a propensity for interrupting delicate tasks to ask if his daughter could come out or to bother him with silly questions.
It wasn't that he saw anything inherently wrong with the prospect of females. They served a biological purpose and their voices were perceived as pleasant. They were often overlooked or underestimated in battle by chivalric fools, giving them a strategic advantage. They could reach places that he, as a man, would not be allowed, making them useful as spies. These were some of the reasons Nemu was not born Nemuro instead.
No, he was well aware that possessing two X chromosomes did not predicate some kind of emotional instability or obnoxious behavior. This, he thought, was what made their behavior even more maddening; that they fell into juvenile stereotypes so easily, believing things like 'chocolate will cure everything' or 'mood swings are perfectly normal' or 'shoes are proof that God exists and he loves us'. Even though he realized they were socially conditioned to believe such ridiculous things, even though he knew they probably did not realize this, he could still feel no sympathy for them. Weren't they willingly deceiving themselves anyway?
